is the linhai yamaha aeolus 300 a good motor scooter?

Linhai does do some manufacturing for Yamaha, but this scooters designation is because of the Yamaha DESIGN of the engine, as best as I can determine… I do believe that Yamaha has a rather large investment in the Linhai operation, but do not confuse this particular scooter as being a 'pure Yamaha', it seems to be a good scooter, but it is coming out of China, Communist China, not Taiwan.
